GOOGLE BRANDLAB

BrandLab podium control panel user interface.

(Thinkwell Project) The Google BrandLab workshops benefit from hand-off interaction with guests laptops onto their wide, 32 flat-panel display with the assistance of a workshop aid at the podium. Google recognized the value of allowing BrandLab interactive design for the podium control in alignment with their recently developed brand standards.

Within the UI, representatives can also adjust breakout room lights and av controls.

After I developed a solid UX, then the front end design, I worked closely with the front end developers for design programming consistency.

GOOGLE BRANDLAB

BrandLab pre-workshop web application design.

Prior to a corporate workshop at any of the BrandLab locations, guests are asked to ‘hit the trail’ to begin their BrandLab journey, and to complete a fun web-based application. Its intent is to gather data about their knowledge and preferences of brands that use the web effectively.

The design solution uses a metaphor of navigating a map to the camp. The camp metaphor is then played out in the physical BrandLab location upon their arrival.
